Operations Executive (Supporting sales team)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Operations Executive to provide essential administrative and operational support to our sales team in Singapore. The role involves preparing quotations, coordinating freight rates, and ensuring smooth shipment execution while delivering high‑quality customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare quotations, pricing proposals and cost calculations for sales opportunities.
• Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, overseas agents and vendors to obtain competitive freight rates.
• Respond promptly to customer enquiries, rate requests and shipment updates.
• Maintain and submit sales and operations documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Assist in the preparation of RFQs, tenders and commercial proposals for key accounts.
• Generate weekly and monthly sales/operations reports for management.
• Maintain organized filing of quotations, customer correspondence and sales records.
• Support the sales team with customer follow‑ups and business development activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics or sales support.
• Good understanding of sea freight and/or air freight operations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Highly organized, meticulous and able to manage multiple deadlines.
• Self‑motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
