Operations Manager – Fleet & Supply Chain

About the role

The Operations Manager will lead the corporate fleet, inventory and supply‑chain functions, ensuring high vehicle availability, optimal stock levels and seamless vendor collaboration. This role combines strategic planning, cost control and compliance to drive operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement fleet maintenance strategies to maximise vehicle availability and minimise downtime.
• Monitor fleet utilisation, maintenance costs, insurance renewals, inspections and asset lifecycle planning.
• Establish preventive maintenance schedules and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Analyse fleet performance data and recommend cost‑saving initiatives.
• Oversee inventory planning and control for motorcycles, spare parts, accessories and related products.
• Develop procurement strategies to maintain optimal stock while minimising holding costs.
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiate pricing, contracts and service agreements.
• Review purchasing forecasts and coordinate replenishment with local and overseas suppliers.
• Ensure accurate inventory records through regular audits and stock reconciliation.
• Implement inventory control procedures to reduce discrepancies and improve turnover.
• Collaborate with Sales and Management to identify new business opportunities and product enhancements.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with manufacturers, distributors and suppliers.
• Lead commercial negotiations to secure competitive pricing and reliable supply.
• Support product launches, promotional campaigns and operational implementation.
• Evaluate vendor performance and drive continuous improvements in quality, delivery and cost efficiency.
• Ensure all operations comply with company policies, industry regulations and statutory requirements.
• Establish quality‑assurance processes across operational functions.
• Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives using operational data and performance metrics.
• Lead cross‑functional projects that enhance efficiency, customer experience and profitability.

Required profile

• Proven experience in operations management, fleet maintenance, inventory control, supply‑chain and vendor management.
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and quality‑assurance processes.
• Ability to analyse performance data and implement cost‑saving measures.
