Operations Manager – Freight Forwarding

About the role

Lead the freight forwarding operations for air and sea shipments, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and driving revenue growth. You will manage a team of professionals to deliver high‑quality logistics services for ship spare, offshore logistics, and Dangerous Goods trucking.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end air and sea freight processes, including customs declarations and permit handling.
• Build and maintain sales pipelines and long‑term customer relationships to support revenue targets.
• Monitor customer satisfaction and KPIs, implementing corrective actions when needed.
• Negotiate terms with regional and global partners while evaluating local providers for compliance.
• Lead and develop the operations team, handling staffing, scheduling, and performance management.
• Analyse operational gaps, define improvement plans, and drive cost‑reduction initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in freight forwarding, with 3‑5 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of local and international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and import/export documentation.
• Proven ability to achieve operational and financial targets.
