Operations Manager – Ground Operations (Singapore)

About the role

FedEx is seeking an Operations Manager for its Singapore Ground Operations. Based in Singapore, you will lead a team of ground‑operations staff, ensuring seamless service delivery and collaboration with internal and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, develop, motivate and manage the performance of the ground‑operations team, handling the full employee life‑cycle including hiring, disciplinary actions and terminations.
• Ensure team awareness of current processes, procedures and regulatory requirements; drive implementation of changes and conduct audits and reviews.
• Identify anomalies or variances, investigate root causes and implement corrective actions to maintain compliance and improve operations.
• Prepare accurate and timely reports, presentations and data for senior management, and oversee information and record management.
• Oversee functional areas such as dispatch, service assurance, transport scheduling, weight & balance, hub control, clearance, dangerous goods handling, line‑haul, vendor management and equipment maintenance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing large operational teams within logistics or transport environments.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory and safety requirements relevant to ground operations.
• Ability to lead change, conduct audits and drive process improvements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
