Operations Support Engineer (Public Sector)

About the role

We are seeking an Operations Support Engineer to join our development team and provide L1‑L3 code‑level support for an internal product used in a government project. The role ensures the reliability, stability, and efficiency of our technical infrastructure while collaborating with developers, product managers, and user support.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor system performance and resolve technical issues across production and non‑production environments.
• Coordinate with application teams, solution architects, security consultants and vendors to implement improvement plans.
• Set up AWS Quick environments for AI use cases and manage application and security incidents.
• Develop and maintain documentation, operation guides and audit‑compliant processes.
• Analyse statistics, produce status reports and present findings to stakeholders.
• Lead a 24/7 operations team of staff and vendors.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Operations Engineer or similar role in an IT setting.
• Experience with change and incident management workflows using ITSM tools.
• Familiarity with agile and DevOps methodologies.
