OSAT Procurement Intern (Bachelor's Degree)

About the role

Marvell, a semiconductor solutions company, is looking for an OSAT Procurement Intern with a Bachelor's degree. Working in the procurement team, you will interact with internal teams and suppliers, support sourcing efforts, take part in cost reduction initiatives and carry out purchasing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Learn about semiconductor manufacturing processes and capacity planning
• Work with global supplier management (APAC) and cross-functional teams
• Help manage material shortages and supply constraints, using data to identify risks and drive mitigation plans
• Support additional projects and responsibilities as business needs evolve
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all purchasing activities
• Support sourcing and cost reduction initiatives
• Collect and analyse spend data for reporting
• Carry out other purchasing-related tasks as assigned

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain or a related field; other disciplines will also be considered
• Strong understanding of supply chain and purchasing processes
• Strong interest in the semiconductor industry
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Planning and analytical abilities, good negotiation skills, proactive and self-motivated
• Prior experience with procurement processes and tools is preferred

Required skills

• Familiarity with ERP, Oracle or similar systems is preferred
• Good knowledge of supply chain and purchasing processes is advantageous
