Paediatric Staff Nurse

About the role

As a Staff Nurse in our paediatric practice, you will be central to delivering safe, high‑quality clinical care while ensuring smooth daily operations. You will work within a close‑knit, diverse team to support doctors in providing paediatric and allergy testing services to the community.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct patient triage, comprehensive nursing assessments and provide appropriate nursing advice.
• Assist doctors during consultations and clinical procedures, including blood taking, specimen collection, wound care and ECGs.
• Administer and dispense medications, injections and vaccinations as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families on medical conditions, medications and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation and coordinate referrals, radiology bookings and pathology requests.
• Prepare consultation rooms, manage inventory of medications and consumables, and ensure infection‑control standards.
• Support front‑end functions such as appointment scheduling, billing and general administrative requests.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma in Nursing or equivalent with a valid SNB Nursing Registration.
• Paediatric BCLS and AED certification.
• At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience.
• Self‑motivated team player with a friendly, service‑oriented disposition.
