Part-Time Chinese Teacher

About the role

Equistar International College is looking for a dedicated Part‑Time Chinese Teacher to deliver engaging Chinese lessons and support students in improving their language proficiency and academic performance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Chinese lessons aligned with the curriculum and students’ learning needs.
• Prepare lesson materials, worksheets, assignments and revision resources.
• Develop students’ reading, writing, speaking, listening and comprehension skills.
• Assess learning through classwork, quizzes, tests and assignments.
• Monitor progress, provide feedback and offer additional support where required.
• Prepare students for Chinese language examinations where applicable.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Chinese Language, Chinese Studies or Education.
• Relevant teaching experience, preferably in an international or secondary school setting.
• Strong command of Mandarin Chinese, both written and spoken.
• Good understanding of Chinese language curriculum and examination requirements.
• Excellent communication and classroom management abilities.
• Passion for teaching and ability to work with culturally diverse students.
