About the role
IKEA Alexandra in Singapore is looking for a part-time ecommerce assistant to help pick and pack customer orders. The role involves picking warehouse goods, moving stock and preparing items for shipment, and is open to those waiting for National Service enlistment and students. Training is provided.
Key responsibilities
- Keep inventory items well organized, properly stored, handled and distributed
- Pick warehouse goods for customer orders up to 20 kg using machines
- Transport stock items with a pallet jack to other sections
- Pick items from shelves or designated areas according to order lists
- Pack and prepare items for shipment, making sure they are properly labeled and documented
- Shop from the shop floor for online customer orders
Required profile
- Working hours of 15 hours per week, minimum 5 hours per day
- Able to commit 4-5 days a week, including weekends and public holidays
- Able to work at least 3 months
- Energetic and physically fit, enjoying hands-on physical work and warehouse logistics
- No experience required; applicants with no experience are welcome
