Part-Time Lecturer – Analytical Techniques & Food Safety

About the role

NTU’s School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology seeks a part‑time lecturer to teach and assess the postgraduate CH6500 Analytical Techniques and Food Safety course within the CCEB MSc programme.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate the course outline, learning plan and assessment framework.
• Prepare and submit course notes and instructional materials to the CCEB MSc team by set deadlines.
• Deliver lectures and tutorials in line with the syllabus and learning plan.
• Provide formative, timely feedback and monitor student progress throughout the term.
• Set, mark and submit assessment results as required.
• Collaborate with the CCEB MSc team to ensure smooth programme delivery.
• Adhere to NTU policies on intellectual property and academic integrity.
• Perform any additional tasks necessary for successful course delivery.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Advanced Reaction Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Current practitioner of advanced reaction engineering processes or research.
• Expert knowledge in Advanced Reaction Engineering.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Familiarity with the operations of a research‑intensive university in Singapore.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal abilities.
