Patient Service Associate - Specialist Outpatient Clinics

About the role

Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH), an anchor hospital of NHG Health, is one of Singapore's largest and pioneering multidisciplinary hospitals, with a dedicated healthcare team of over 11,000 and more than 2,000 beds. As a Patient Service Associate in the specialist outpatient clinics, you will join the frontline team and help create a positive, seamless experience for patients and caregivers. You will support patient service and administrative functions while working closely with healthcare professionals to keep clinic operations smooth.

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional, compassionate and patient-centred service to patients and caregivers.
• Manage patient registration, appointments and other visit-related arrangements.
• Process payments and assist patients with financial counselling and related enquiries.
• Maintain and manage patients' medical records accurately while ensuring confidentiality.
• Support doctors and the clinical team during patient consultations and medical reviews.
• Perform administrative and operational duties to support the smooth running of the clinic.
• Attend to patient enquiries and provide appropriate assistance.
• Work closely with team members and healthcare professionals to deliver a positive patient experience.

Required profile

• Diploma in any discipline, GCE 'A'/'O'/'N' Level, Higher NITEC in Business Studies, or NITEC in Service Skills.
• Customer-oriented, with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic healthcare environment.
• Collaborative team player with a positive attitude towards service; prior frontline customer service experience is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in computer applications.
• Comfortable learning new systems.
