People Operations Specialist

About the role

The People Operations Specialist provides first‑line support for employee queries and manages employee changes throughout the hire‑to‑retire cycle. The role works closely with internal stakeholders and uses data‑driven insights to continuously improve HR processes and employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve tier‑1 employee queries within agreed SLAs, objectives and KPIs.
• Partner with stakeholders to address queries that need additional input.
• Administer employee changes across the hire‑to‑retire lifecycle in People Systems.
• Provide and store employee documentation in line with legal guidelines and SLAs.
• Liaise with external payroll providers to ensure correct employee registration with local authorities.
• Identify and implement process, system and tooling improvements to increase efficiency.
• Validate monthly payroll reports for accuracy and timely payout.
• Execute procedures compliant with global and local employment law.
• Deliver training on People Ops processes to new hires, stakeholders and employees.
• Maintain up‑to‑date HR content and guides in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Participate in People Department projects and initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 2‑3 years of experience in People Operations or a similar HR function.
• Proven ability to work with internal and external HR stakeholders.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

Required skills

• Workday (preferred HRIS platform).
• General HRIS system proficiency.
