Perimeter Director (Singapore)

About the role

The Perimeter Director drives the operational, financial and strategic performance of a defined perimeter of Business Units for a client that is part of a global engineering and infrastructure group. The client offers engineering, construction, industrial services and maintenance solutions to the industrial, commercial and infrastructure sectors, and operates on a decentralized model. The role ensures sustainable growth, strong execution and alignment with the Group's operating model and values, while developing people and fostering an entrepreneurial and inclusive culture.

Key responsibilities

• Drive revenue growth, profitability and cash generation, and support Business Unit Managers in meeting their objectives
• Ensure robust business planning and forecasting, monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions
• Recruit, develop and support BU General Managers and key talents, and drive succession planning and talent pipelines
• Define and implement the perimeter's development strategy (organic, diversification and external growth) and identify business opportunities
• Lead or oversee major projects, ensuring quality, cost, timeline and risk control, and share lessons learned across Business Units
• Ensure compliance with group standards and governance frameworks, and lead change initiatives such as HR process and system transformations
• Promote the Group's values, foster an inclusive workplace and support employee engagement and well-being

Required profile

• Strong leadership experience in managing multi-entity or multi-country operations
• Experience in decentralized organizations is a strong asset
• Ability to operate in multicultural environments and to influence diverse stakeholders
• Entrepreneurial mindset; knowledge of the industry is preferred
