Pharmacist – Lead 24/7 Dispensary Operations

About the role

WhiteCoat is seeking an experienced Pharmacist to lead its 24/7 dispensary operation in Singapore. The role combines hands‑on pharmacy leadership with operational and people‑management responsibilities, ensuring consistent clinical and service standards across all shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end medication stock management across all shifts, maintaining optimal levels, proper storage, and audit‑ready records.
• Lead a team of at least 10 staff, handling shift scheduling, coaching, performance management and development of shift leads.
• Ensure full compliance with the Poisons Act, Medicines Act and HSA/MOH licensing requirements, including licence renewals and audit readiness.
• Develop and review medication pricing, monitor market trends and protect gross margins.
• Collaborate with medical teams to shape the medication formulary and maintain a comprehensive range of drugs for common conditions.

Required profile

• Registered Pharmacist with the Singapore Pharmacy Council and a valid Practising Certificate.
• 5‑7 years post‑registration experience, including prior role as Pharmacist‑in‑Charge and managing a sizeable shift‑based team.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore’s Poisons Act, Medicines Act and HSA regulatory requirements.
• Proven people‑leadership and conflict‑resolution skills in a shift‑roster environment.

Required skills

• Inventory/ERP system management for medication stock control.
• Regulatory compliance expertise (Poisons Act, Medicines Act, HSA licensing).
