Platform Engineer – Quant Fund (Singapore)

About the role

We are looking for a Platform Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer to join a leading quantitative trading firm in Singapore. You will design, build and operate mission-critical, cloud-native infrastructure that powers high-frequency, compute-intensive trading strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Implement observability solutions covering monitoring, logging, tracing and alerting.
• Manage HPC scheduling and container orchestration for large-scale compute workloads.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and self-service tooling for engineering teams.
• Design middleware components such as messaging, service discovery and load balancing.
• Administer relational, NoSQL and time-series databases.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and enable self-service platforms.

Required profile

• Proven experience building and operating large-scale, high-performance infrastructure.
• Strong problem-solving skills in a fast-moving, data-driven environment.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.
