About the role
Woodlands Hospital (WH) is looking for a Podiatrist, an Allied Health Professional (AHP) who assesses, treats and manages a variety of foot conditions. The role covers dermatological conditions such as ingrown toenails, corns and calluses, and lower-limb complications from conditions such as diabetes and arthritis, through preventative foot-care education, custom-made insoles and advice on corrective footwear.
Required profile
- Recognised degree in Podiatry
- Relevant recognised certificate in Local Anaesthesia
- Professional license
- Membership of the Podiatry Association (Singapore)
Working conditions
- Abnormal working conditions
- Manual handling of patients
- Exposure to infectious diseases
- Risk of needle sticks and cuts from sharps
