Postdoctoral Researcher/Fellow – Chemistry

About the role

The Nicewicz group at CCEB is seeking to hire a Postdoctoral Researcher/Fellow to facilitate research in the development of novel and broadly useful sustainable molecular transformations for the synthesis of complex molecules using single electron redox processes. The School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology is an interdisciplinary joint school under the College of Engineering and College of Science at NTU Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily experiments and analyse collected data.
• Supervise junior graduate students and undergraduate researchers.
• Submit weekly reports on experimental results.
• Prepare manuscript(s) based on research findings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree and a conferring PhD in Chemistry or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in organic chemistry and hands‑on reaction development.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Competent in managing projects/teams of students and presenting data.
• Ability to work independently, lead teams, meet strict timelines, and maintain excellent organisational skills.
