Presales Engineer – Military & Defense Solutions

About the role

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Presales Engineer to lead pre‑sale activities for its Military and Defense portfolio in Singapore. The role will support customers from initial scope definition through to project close, focusing on solutions such as Barrett, counter‑UAS, mesh networks and radio communications.

Key responsibilities

• Drive presales opportunities in the Military & Defense sector, preparing bids, quotations, demonstrations and proof‑of‑concepts.
• Develop technical system designs and ensure sound integration of ecosystem solutions.
• Collaborate with sales, product, engineering and operations teams to produce high‑quality responses to RFIs/RFPs.
• Commission and test Motorola equipment in line with technical requirements and contract obligations.
• Manage customer requirements, expectations and technical solution delivery throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Collaborative, accountable critical thinker comfortable leading technical discussions.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, Wireless Networks or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Ability to work with internal stakeholders to achieve agreed outcomes.
