About the role

The Preschool Kitchen & Cleaning Assistant supports daily food preparation and maintains a clean environment for children and staff in early‑learning centres across Singapore. This entry‑level position combines basic cooking duties with routine cleaning tasks to ensure a safe and hygienic setting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare daily meals and snacks for children and centre staff, adhering to basic nutritional guidelines.
• Maintain kitchen, pantry and food‑preparation areas in a clean and sanitary condition.
• Perform daily cleaning of classrooms, toilets and common areas.
• Replenish cleaning supplies, manage waste disposal and ensure proper storage of food items.
• Assist with meal preparation during centre activities when required.

Required profile

• Fresh or entry‑level candidate with a genuine interest in early‑childhood environments.
• Possess a food‑handling or food‑hygiene related certificate.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.

Required skills

• Food handling certification.
• Understanding of basic food safety standards.
