About the role
Toll Group, part of Japan Post, is looking for a Prime Mover Driver in Singapore. The driver operates a towed vehicle such as a platform or low-bed trailer, takes care of the assigned machine and tools, and ensures cargo and public safety. Applicants must be entitled to work in Singapore and be ready for pre-employment checks including a criminal history check and medical.
Key responsibilities
- Drive a towed vehicle such as a platform or low-bed trailer
- Take responsibility for the allocated machine and tools
- Communicate with colleagues and speak English and/or Mandarin
- Know the local districts and roads well
- Prioritise cargo securing and public safety, and stay committed to safety compliance
Required profile
- Valid Class 4 (minimum) Singapore driving licence; Class 5 licence is an advantage
- Clean driving record with no major accidents is an advantage
- Proactive, cooperative and able to work overtime or irregular hours
- Must be entitled to work in Singapore
