Principal Consultant - CIO Advisory & Transformations

About the role

Infosys Consulting, a global management consulting firm, is hiring a Principal Consultant (also listed as Senior Consultant) for its CIO Advisory & Transformations practice in Singapore. The role is highly visible, with exposure to a wide range of stakeholders, and requires both domain or technical skills and strong people skills. It suits an experienced IT professional or consultant who can help clients achieve business success.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver IT solutions and processes as part of an integrated strategy, working at team, stakeholder and organizational leadership levels
• Lead teams and clients through change, and define and deliver hybrid and multi-cloud strategies, roadmaps, migrations and adoption
• Develop business cases for digital and cloud transformation, including financial and non-financial benefits and required investments
• Lead RFPs and tender responses, write proposals and present compelling business cases to clients
• Conduct market and client research and industry analysis, and contribute to new business opportunities
• Build and lead teams to bespoke outcomes, and pursue deep client relationships
• Participate in and lead the development of service offerings, provide thought leadership (POVs, white papers, blogs) and share expertise with colleagues and clients

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent, or four years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of each year of education
• Well-defined management consulting experience, including project management and/or business analysis
• Experience in business and IT technology strategy or IT operations transformation project delivery
• Experience leading large transformational and complex programs

Required skills

• Cloud domain (AWS, Azure, Google, private cloud providers) and hybrid/multi-cloud strategy
• Agile methodology, IT cost optimisation, application portfolio rationalisation and SDLC
• Program and project management, including requirement gathering, scoping, resource and costing plans, governance and stakeholder communication
• Process reengineering and process flowcharting
• Preferred: cloud service provider evaluation, cloud migration business cases and cloud operating model design
