Principal Consultant – Unified Engineering

About the role

AVEVA is seeking a technically skilled engineer to join the team as a Technical Principal Consultant for AVEVA Unified Engineering. The role focuses on hands‑on implementation, configuration and integration of UE within complex plant engineering environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the technical implementation of AVEVA Unified Engineering solutions for EPCs and Owner Operators.
• Configure and customize UE modules to align with customer‑specific engineering workflows.
• Integrate UE with other AVEVA tools (e.g., ERM, AIM‑A, Worktasks) and third‑party systems via APIs.
• Develop scripts and extensions using PML, C#.NET, SQL or other relevant technologies.
• Collaborate with customer teams to define data models, templates and workflows.
• Create and maintain technical documentation including Requirement Definition Documents, configuration guides and training materials.
• Conduct technical workshops and training sessions for end users and administrators.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and post‑deployment support.
• Consult with global AVEVA development and support teams to resolve complex issues and contribute to product improvements.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience with AVEVA Unified Engineering or similar integrated engineering platforms.
• Strong background in engineering data modeling and multi‑discipline integration (process, piping, electrical, instrumentation).
• Hands‑on experience with AVEVA Engineering, P&ID, E3D or comparable tools.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication in English, both written and verbal.
• Experience working in cross‑functional and international teams.
• Willingness to travel for project delivery and customer engagement.
