Principal HR Business Partner

About the role

GlobalFoundries is seeking a strategic Principal HR Business Partner to work closely with business leaders across its manufacturing operations. The role will act as a catalyst for organizational effectiveness, driving HR initiatives that align with the company’s growth objectives while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with line managers on recruitment, performance management, and talent development to continuously improve HR practices.
• Lead employee relations matters for manufacturing staff, ensuring fair and timely resolution of cases.
• Analyze manpower reports and support strategic workforce planning to meet operational requirements.
• Drive and align HR policies, systems, and processes with the organization’s strategic business thrusts.
• Organize internal communications, All‑Hands sessions, and employee engagement activities.
• Manage the formulation and implementation of HR projects and initiatives while ensuring compliance and confidentiality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of HR experience, preferably in semiconductor, manufacturing or electronics industry.
• Strong knowledge of labour law and HR functions, with ability to operate in a multicultural environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer‑focused and service‑oriented attitude.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities, analytical ability, and the capacity to thrive under pressure.
