Principal / Senior Physiotherapist, EGH Planning Office

About the role

The upcoming Eastern General Hospital (EGH) is seeking a Principal / Senior Physiotherapist for its Planning Office. EGH aims to provide excellent, person-centred healthcare covering emergency, acute and secondary care, and is building a comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient clinical specialties.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert physiotherapy services to patients across musculoskeletal, orthopaedics, cardiopulmonary, surgical, neurology and geriatrics areas
• Deliver high-quality care and improve patient outcomes using specialised knowledge
• Work with a multidisciplinary team to plan and deliver evidence-based clinical services
• Supervise and mentor junior staff, and lead and train a team in your specialised field
• Assist in planning and developing clinical services and initiatives that improve patient care and departmental effectiveness
• Coordinate manpower and allocate resources to ensure team efficiency
• Contribute actively to departmental and interdepartmental training

Required profile

• Bachelor, Masters or Doctoral degree in Physiotherapy
• Registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC)
• Good communication, interpersonal and patient handling skills, teamwork and organisational skills preferred
• Ability to speak more than one language or dialect preferred, to liaise with dialect-speaking associates and patients
