Principal/Senior/Executive Software Engineer – Systems

About the role

The Centre for Autonomous Mobility (CAM) at Singapore’s Land Transport Authority is looking for a Principal, Senior or Executive Software Engineer to design and deliver production‑grade digital tools that enable safe, large‑scale deployment of autonomous vehicles. You will work on end‑to‑end systems that collect, analyse and visualise AV operational data, supporting regulatory and safety assurance functions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, architect and implement cloud‑based services that power AV monitoring, analytics dashboards, event management and anomaly‑alerting.
• Own feature development from concept through deployment, ensuring reliability, observability and scalability for a growing fleet of autonomous vehicles.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, industry partners and end‑users to identify deployment bottlenecks and propose innovative software solutions.
• Maintain and support production systems, responding to incidents and continuously improving system health.
• Integrate AI/ML techniques to enhance engineering productivity, risk detection and operational intelligence.

Required profile

• Strong background in building large‑scale, cloud‑native software products.
• Experience delivering end‑to‑end solutions in safety‑critical or regulated environments.
• Ability to work independently and lead technical discussions with senior stakeholders.
• Passion for autonomous mobility and a data‑driven approach to problem solving.
