Process Engineer - Display and Semiconductor Manufacturing

About the role

Applied Materials, a global leader in materials science and engineering solutions for semiconductors and advanced displays, is hiring a Process Engineer in Singapore. The engineer designs and optimizes manufacturing processes for display and semiconductor technologies, collects and analyzes data, performs hardware characterization, and works with R&D teams on research and development projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design, collect data, analyze and compile reports on moderately difficult process engineering experiments
• Perform hardware characterization on moderately difficult systems
• Troubleshoot problems, perform root cause analysis and resolve process engineering issues
• Measure film properties and organize data and reports for review
• Generate internal documentation for products, presentations and technical reports
• Engage with customers to resolve process engineering issues under general supervision
• Identify, select and partner with vendors and suppliers, and implement new technology, products and analytical instrumentation

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• 2-4 years of related experience
