Process Engineer Internship – CVD Process Optimization

About the role

This internship focuses on systematic development and optimisation of Chemical Vapour Deposition (CVD) process recipes to improve film properties such as thickness, uniformity and stress while maximising throughput and minimising waste. The selected intern will collaborate closely with the engineering team to analyse current process limitations, design targeted experiments and refine parameters to establish a robust, repeatable deposition recipe.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse current CVD process limitations and performance data.
• Design and execute targeted experiments to evaluate recipe parameters.
• Refine and validate a robust, repeatable deposition recipe that improves film quality while maximising throughput.

Required profile

• Familiarity with thin‑film deposition concepts, vacuum systems or semiconductor manufacturing processes.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in statistical data analysis or design‑of‑experiments software (e.g., JMP).
• Detail‑oriented with a firm commitment to laboratory safety protocols.
