Process Engineer – Semiconductor & Display

About the role

As a Process Engineer, you will design and optimize manufacturing processes for semiconductor and display technologies. You will collect and analyze data, perform hardware characterization, and troubleshoot engineering issues while collaborating with global R&D teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and qualify semiconductor processes such as deposition, etch, epitaxy, and PVD to meet product and customer requirements.
• Design and execute Design of Experiments (DOE) and use statistical tools (JMP, Minitab) to analyze process data and drive improvements.
• Partner with equipment engineering to define hardware requirements and support new product introductions.
• Collaborate with customers to understand technology roadmaps, conduct demonstrations, and resolve process escalations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 + years of experience in semiconductor process engineering, capital equipment, or related technical roles.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 20%.

Required skills

• Knowledge of semiconductor fabrication processes including deposition, etch, epitaxy, diffusion, and thin‑film technologies.
• Experience with Design of Experiments (DOE) and statistical process control using tools such as JMP and Minitab.
• Strong data analytics and statistical analysis capabilities.
• Root‑cause analysis and problem‑solving skills.
