Process Support Engineer – Epitaxy

About the role

As a Process Support Engineer (Epitaxy) you will guide semiconductor products through their entire lifecycle, from concept to qualification, providing high‑visibility on‑site support, system diagnostics, and repair of complex equipment. You will work closely with customers and R&D teams to develop cutting‑edge processes for advanced chip manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site installations, system diagnoses, and service/repair of complex semiconductor equipment.
• Collaborate with customers to develop leading‑edge processes for advanced semiconductor chips.
• Create hypothesis experiments and design of experiments (DOE), analyse data statistically, and compile high‑level reports.
• Troubleshoot complex problems, perform root‑cause analyses, and resolve difficult process engineering issues.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders and customers to build trust and achieve project goals.
• Serve as a resource for junior colleagues and lead small, low‑risk projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, physics, materials engineering, electrical engineering, optoelectronics or a related field.
• 4–7 years of semiconductor process experience, preferably in epitaxy.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to convey technical information and build consensus.
• Willingness to work daily at the customer’s site/cleanroom.
