Process Support Engineer (Plating)

About the role

As a Process Support Engineer (Plating) you will guide semiconductor products through their full lifecycle, from concept to qualification. You will provide high‑visibility customer support on‑site, perform system diagnoses, and service complex equipment while collaborating with R&D teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site installations, system diagnostics, and repair of complex semiconductor equipment.
• Work with customers to develop cutting‑edge plating processes for advanced chips.
• Create hypothesis experiments and design of experiments (DOE), analyze data with statistics, and compile detailed reports.
• Troubleshoot complex issues, conduct root‑cause analyses, and resolve challenging process engineering problems.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders and customers to build trust and achieve project goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, physics, materials engineering, electrical engineering, optoelectronics or related field.
• 4–7 years of semiconductor process experience, preferably in plating.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for customer interaction and consensus building.
• Willingness to work daily at the customer’s clean‑room site.

• Root‑cause analysis and problem‑solving.
• On‑site equipment installation, diagnostics, and repair.
• Knowledge of CVD, ALD, plasma reactive ion etch, physical vapor deposition, anneal and implant technologies.
