Process Support Engineer – Semiconductor Plating

About the role

As a Process Support Engineer you will guide semiconductor products through their full lifecycle, from concept to qualification, providing on‑site customer support, system diagnostics and equipment repair.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑visibility support through on‑site installations, system diagnoses and repair of complex semiconductor equipment.
• Work with customers to develop advanced processes for manufacturing cutting‑edge chips, creating hypothesis experiments and design of experiments (DOE).
• Troubleshoot complex problems, perform root‑cause analyses and resolve challenging process engineering issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, physics, materials engineering, electrical engineering, optoelectronics or a related field.
• 4–7 years of semiconductor process experience, preferably in plating.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work daily at the customer’s cleanroom site.

Required skills

• Plating process expertise.
• Knowledge of Chemical Vapor Deposition, Atomic Layer Deposition, Plasma Reactive Ion Etch, Physical Vapor Deposition, Anneal and Implant technologies.
• Design of Experiments (DOE) and statistical data analysis.
