Procurement and Supply Chain Manager – Singapore

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Procurement and Supply Chain Manager to lead end‑to‑end sourcing, logistics and inventory functions for our electronics manufacturing operations in Singapore. You will shape procurement strategy, drive cost efficiencies and ensure reliable material flow to support product launches.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with cost, quality and delivery targets.
• Source, qualify and manage local and overseas suppliers for key components and materials.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, payment terms and supplier agreements to maximise savings.
• Evaluate supplier performance (cost, quality, delivery, responsiveness) and implement corrective actions.
• Support new‑product introductions by coordinating RFQs, supplier readiness and cost‑down initiatives.
• Lead demand forecasting, material planning and production scheduling to guarantee on‑time availability.
• Oversee MRP data integrity within the ERP system and ensure timely PO issuance.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels, conduct regular audits and manage slow‑moving or obsolete stock.
• Manage inbound/outbound logistics, import/export documentation and customs compliance.
• Drive process automation and ERP optimisation for procurement and supply‑chain workflows.
• Lead, coach and develop a team of purchasing and planning associates.

Required profile

• Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of supply‑chain experience in a comparable industry.
• Strong knowledge of MRP within an ERP environment.
• Familiarity with cable assembly, box‑build assembly and system integration.
• Proven cost‑analysis and supplier‑benchmarking capabilities.
• Understanding of ethical sourcing and trade‑compliance standards.
