Procurement Executive

About the role

We are looking for a Procurement Executive to manage daily procurement activities for materials, equipment, spare parts and services. The role involves coordinating with internal teams and suppliers to ensure timely and cost‑effective sourcing.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily procurement activities and review MRP requirements to plan purchases based on demand, inventory levels and lead times.
• Source and evaluate local and overseas suppliers, obtain quotations, conduct price comparisons and negotiate pricing and commercial terms.
• Prepare purchase orders, follow up with suppliers and monitor inventory levels, open PO status and material shortages.
• Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Warehouse and Technical teams on material requirements and resolve supplier issues related to price, quality, quantity and delivery.
• Maintain accurate purchasing and supplier information in the system and monitor supplier performance to identify cost‑saving opportunities.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum three years of procurement or purchasing experience, preferably with exposure to MRP, inventory planning and ERP systems.
• Experience with industrial, engineering or technical products is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of MRP systems.
• Familiarity with ERP systems.
