Product Development Manager – IVD/MedTech

About the role

We are seeking a Product Development Manager to lead IVD and MedTech product programmes for a multinational contract manufacturing company in Singapore. The role will support the Consumables Innovation Director and drive projects from concept through manufacturing, ensuring alignment with technical, quality and business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Consumables Innovation Director in IVD/MedTech development programmes, managing project execution and stakeholder coordination.
• Lead cross‑functional product development from concept to manufacturing, delivering projects on schedule.
• Review product designs, engineering analyses, risk assessments and DFM to ensure successful production transfer.
• Drive technical problem‑solving, design reviews, failure investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage project milestones, schedules, deliverables, funding compliance and programme reporting.
• Support regulatory compliance, design controls, technical documentation, customer audits and regulatory submissions.
• Oversee manufacturing readiness, process validation, automation integration, supplier qualification and scale‑up for new product introductions.
• Monitor project performance through yield improvement, process optimisation, CAPA and quality metrics.

Required profile

• Degree in an engineering discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of product development experience in the IVD/MedTech sector.
• At least 3 years of project management experience for regulated MedTech products.
