Product Manager, SEA

About the role

Brenntag is looking for a Product Manager, SEA, based in Singapore, to develop and execute product strategy for assigned product lines across Southeast Asia within Brenntag Essentials. The role drives profitable growth through portfolio optimization, supplier management, pricing strategy, market intelligence and close collaboration with country commercial teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the assigned product portfolio across SEA markets, including lifecycle management, growth opportunities in new applications, segments and countries, and portfolio expansion, rationalization or repositioning.
• Deliver regional revenue, gross profit and margin targets, define pricing frameworks and support country sales teams in strategic bids.
• Build and manage supplier relationships, negotiate supply agreements, pricing terms, rebates and regional exclusivity, and position Brenntag as a preferred channel partner in APAC.
• Monitor market trends, feedstock pricing, competitor activity and supply-demand dynamics, and share market intelligence with leadership and country teams.
• Work with Country Business Managers, Sales, Supply Chain, Procurement, Regulatory, Finance and Technical teams on forecasting, inventory optimization, demand planning, product launches and sales enablement.
• Support customer meetings and key accounts, provide product positioning and drive value-selling rather than price-based selling.
• Prepare and present monthly and quarterly business reviews covering sales performance, margins, pricing changes, supplier performance, market outlook and pipeline.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business, Supply Chain or a related discipline.
• 3-8 years of relevant experience in Product Management, Commercial/Sales, Category Management, Chemical Distribution, Petrochemicals or Industrial Chemicals.
