Production and Control Planner – Shift Role

About the role

The Production and Control Planner is responsible for supporting material control, inventory transactions, quality notification implementation, and project execution activities. The role serves as a key point of contact for part status inquiries and ensures accurate inventory management and system transactions to support manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to ad‑hoc part status queries from internal stakeholders and provide timely updates on material availability, inventory status, shortages and open orders.
• Coordinate and execute Quality Notification (QN) implementation activities, working closely with Quality, Engineering and Production teams to minimise operational impact.
• Perform SAP transactions (goods receipts, inventory transfers, stock adjustments) to support material movements, ensure accuracy, investigate discrepancies and place project materials into on‑hand inventory status.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing, Business or related discipline.
• Experience in manufacturing, production control, inventory management or supply chain operations.
• Knowledge of SAP, particularly MIGO transactions (preferred).
• Familiarity with Quality Notification (QN) processes (advantage).
