Production Manager

About the role

BeeX is seeking a Production Manager to lead end‑to‑end manufacturing of its advanced Hovering Autonomous Underwater Vehicles. You will ensure safe, on‑time delivery of high‑quality electromechanical products while scaling operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily production operations across mechanical assembly, electrical integration, system build and testing readiness.
• Develop and manage production schedules based on delivery priorities, material availability and manpower capacity.
• Coach and develop technicians, assemblers and support staff, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Establish assembly standards, SOPs, checklists and inspection gates; drive root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Partner with engineering on prototype‑to‑production transitions, tooling, layout and scale‑up improvements.
• Coordinate with testing teams to ensure build‑ready systems meet acceptance criteria.
• Manage inventory, WIP and material readiness in close collaboration with procurement and logistics.
• Drive Lean, 5S and continuous‑improvement initiatives, tracking KPIs such as output, first‑pass yield and schedule adherence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in production, manufacturing or operations management in high‑mix, low‑to‑medium volume environments.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage complex electromechanical projects.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset with hands‑on approach.
