Production Planning Executive – Cable/Wire Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking a Production Planning Executive to support our cable and wire manufacturing operations in Singapore. The role involves coordinating material supply, production schedules, and inventory to ensure smooth operations and timely order fulfilment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in sourcing qualified suppliers and raise purchase requests for raw and auxiliary materials.
• Monitor material usage, reduce waste, and maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Liaise with Sales to convey customer requirements and follow up on order progress.
• Prepare and adjust production plans based on orders, inventory status, and capacity.
• Coordinate manpower, overtime, and shift arrangements as needed.
• Maintain production documentation and daily records for analysis.

Required profile

• Diploma or higher in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Manufacturing or related field.
• Relevant experience in production planning, manufacturing, or supply chain coordination.
• Good understanding of material planning, inventory control and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to work with Sales, Production, Procurement, Warehouse and other departments.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with ERP or production planning systems.
