Production Technician – Manufacturing

About the role

The Production Technician 1 will operate and monitor manufacturing equipment to produce high‑quality medical devices. You will work on the shop floor, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and Good Manufacturing Practice standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain production machinery according to SOPs and safety guidelines.
• Perform in‑process quality checks, document results, and complete batch records.
• Set up materials and components for each production run.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and escalate complex problems.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to GMP and ISO standards.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level or NITEC in a technical field.
• 0‑2 years of manufacturing or production experience, preferably in medical devices or pharma.
• Ability to read technical drawings and follow detailed instructions.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
