Production Technician – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

As a Production Technician you will support safe, efficient and high‑quality manufacturing of medical technology products. You will monitor equipment, perform quality checks, and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives in a fast‑paced production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and record machine and process parameters, applying corrective actions to maintain process control.
• Conduct in‑process sampling and quality inspections according to established plans.
• Handle non‑conforming products and support quality‑assurance activities.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and routine preventive maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Execute product and machine changeovers, including material swaps and minor setup adjustments.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area and update production data in the management system.
• Participate in shift handover meetings and support monthly performance reviews.
• Assist technical specialists with major maintenance projects and data collection for improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum secondary education, NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma or equivalent in Engineering, Manufacturing or a related field.
• Experience in a manufacturing or automated equipment environment is preferred.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, procedures and quality standards.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
