Production Technician – Manufacturing (Technician 1)

About the role

The Production Technician (Technician 1) joins a global medical‑technology manufacturer to operate and maintain production equipment while ensuring a safe, environmentally‑friendly, and quality‑focused workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Follow ISO 14001, safety, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) procedures to maintain a compliant work environment.
• Operate assigned machines and process units, monitor parameters, and record data.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures, perform preventive maintenance, and execute cleaning, service, and part replacements.
• Conduct sampling inspections according to quality plans and manage non‑conforming product disposition.
• Support the Team Leader with production changes, projects, and product/machine changeovers, including material swaps and MES data entry.
• Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness of work areas to ensure safety and efficiency.

Required profile

• Experience in a manufacturing environment with knowledge of safety, ISO 14001, and GMP standards.
• Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and report incidents, near‑misses, and deviations.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and environmental stewardship.

Required skills

• MES (Manufacturing Execution System) operation.
• Machine operation and basic preventive maintenance.
