Project Executive – Logistics & Freight Operations

About the role

The Project Executive will provide commercial and operational support for project logistics, ensuring freight requirements are met efficiently and professionally. This role involves handling customer enquiries, preparing quotations, supporting tender processes, and overseeing specialised cargo movements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate quotations for internal and external Requests for Quotation (RFQ).
• Assist the Head of Department with tender submissions, including RFP and RFQ exercises.
• Manage end‑to‑end freight operations across air, sea and road modes.
• Coordinate and oversee shipments of Out of Gauge (OOG) and project cargo.
• Respond to customer enquiries and operational requests promptly.
• Conduct customer visits and support business development activities.
• Provide on‑site operational support during loading and unloading of special cargo.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders, vendors, subcontractors and customers to ensure smooth execution.
• Monitor shipment progress, troubleshoot issues and ensure service excellence.
• Prepare and update reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with safety, security and operational procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• 3–5 years of experience in freight forwarding, project logistics or multimodal transportation.
• Strong knowledge of air, sea and road freight operations.
• Experience handling Out of Gauge (OOG) or project cargo is an advantage.
• Good customer service and stakeholder management abilities.
• Willingness to travel for customer visits and site operations.
• Ability to work independently under tight timelines in a fast‑paced environment.
• High integrity, attention to detail and a proactive, team‑oriented mindset.
