Project Executive, Spiritual Events

About the role

The Spiritual Events department of the monastery plans and delivers Buddhist rituals, workshops, retreats and other programmes that help the public deepen their understanding of Buddhism. As a Project Executive you will coordinate all aspects of these events to ensure they run smoothly and safely.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and execute events, retreats, workshops and courses.
• Manage venue setup, coordinate logistics and work with cross‑functional teams.
• Liaise with external stakeholders such as speakers, vendors and volunteers.
• Handle public calls and email enquiries, provide administrative support and maintain proper documentation.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety and health guidelines.

Required profile

• Diploma in Project/Event Management or a related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Team player with a positive work attitude.
• Willingness to work weekends, public holidays and irregular hours.
• Basic knowledge of Buddhism is an advantage.
