Project Manager APAC (Japanese Speaking)

About the role

One of the largest names in payments is looking for a Project Manager to join its Customer Experience team in Singapore. You will own the end-to-end onboarding and implementation process for APAC commercial customers, taking projects from contract signing to go live.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the onboarding and implementation process for APAC commercial customers, from contract signing to go live.
• Act as the main liaison between customers and cross-functional teams (Sales, KYC/CDD, Legal, Credit, Risk, Boarding and Implementation).
• Develop and execute project plans, monitor milestones, manage risks and run regular status meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate onboarding requirements such as documentation collection, system setup validation, product demonstrations and user training.
• Provide ongoing project reporting, meeting documentation, escalation management and post-go-live performance monitoring.
• Drive continuous process improvements, run project closure reviews and facilitate handovers to Sales and Customer Experience teams.
• Take on other related duties and special projects for process and operations optimisation as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree with a good track record in project management and knowledge of project management best practices.
• Proficiency in Japanese is an added advantage for engaging with partners and clients in Japan.
• Experience working with third-party vendors and outsourcing companies.
• Nice to have: card payment and merchant acquiring product knowledge, marketing experience, and excellent presentation skills.

Required skills

• Project management software such as MS Project or Salesforce for creating and managing project reports.
• Good negotiation skills and the ability to work with all levels of an organisation.
• Strong analytical, planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing demands and multiple work streams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and the ability to interact with executive-level clients.
