Project Manager – Data Platform

About the role

AI Singapore (AISG), a national AI programme hosted by Nanyang Technological University, is seeking a Project Manager to join its Data Platform team. The role sits at the intersection of business analysis and technical delivery, ensuring that complex, multi‑partner programmes run smoothly and deliver measurable impact.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and chair regular working sessions with external partners, research collaborators and community contributors across multiple time zones.
• Track action items, decisions, risks and milestones, maintaining a single source of truth for programme status and providing regular updates to leadership and funders.
• Elicit, document and validate data requirements from internal teams and external partners, translating them into user stories, data specifications and process flows for engineering and data teams.
• Support the partnerships team throughout the MOU lifecycle, prepare NDAs, collaboration agreements and platform policies in collaboration with legal.
• Lead procurement workstreams, handling vendor onboarding, purchase orders and payment tracking in line with AISG policies.
• Define, track and report on programme KPIs such as data contributions, partner engagement, platform usage and data quality.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate business needs into clear technical requirements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, comfortable working with partners across different time zones.
• Experience in managing complex projects or programmes with multiple workstreams.
• Familiarity with legal and procurement processes in an academic or research environment.
