Project Manager, Demand Management

About the role

Applied Materials, a global leader in materials science and engineering solutions for semiconductors and advanced displays, is hiring a Project Manager, Demand Management in Singapore. The role supports project and program objectives and ensures they are delivered according to requirements, with no supervisory responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Support project and program objectives defined in the area of responsibility, including preliminary activities such as determining outcomes, milestones, viability studies and resource planning.
• Ensure projects and programs are completed in line with predetermined requirements, paying attention to product/process specifications, costs, resource utilization and timeliness.
• Document all phases of project, program and process development and report, disseminate or transfer the required information to other functions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies on engineering/lab notebooks, patents, confidentiality and safety.
• Study new technologies where appropriate and support data collection for materials and financial resources.

Required profile

• Conceptual knowledge of theories, practices and procedures within a discipline.
• General business knowledge from education or past experience.
• No supervisory responsibilities; accountable for developing technical contribution.
• Able to solve standard problems using existing procedures and work within standardized practices to meet deadlines.
• Ability to exchange straightforward information, ask questions and check for understanding.

The position may require standing for long periods, walking, working in tight spaces, bending, lifting and using hand and power tools. Because it may involve a clean room, personal protective equipment such as coveralls, hoods, boots, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons and face shields may be needed. The role is full-time, regular, with no relocation eligibility.
