Project Manager – Industrial Skid Packages

About the role

CECO Environmental, a global leader in sustainable industrial solutions, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex skid‑package projects. You will drive profitability, ensure timely delivery, and support the project team in the absence of the project director.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage assigned complex skid‑package projects from planning through execution.
• Deputize for the project director, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to the project management team.
• Develop and enforce project management strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Coordinate with senior management and stakeholders to define objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Foster continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare and present regular status reports to senior leadership.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Travel as required to support business needs across geographies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• 15+ years of project management experience, including 3‑5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of delivering large‑scale projects on time and within budget.
• Strong technical and commercial knowledge of mechanical packages.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
• Strategic thinking and sound decision‑making skills.

Required skills

• Mechanical engineering expertise.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
• Proficiency with project management software and tools.
