Project Manager

About the role

The Project Manager will lead end‑to‑end delivery of Singapore government‑related IT initiatives in a secure and regulated environment. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure projects are completed on time, within scope and budget while meeting strict security and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, monitor and close projects from initiation to closure.
• Define scope, objectives, deliverables and timelines with internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, work breakdown structures, milestones, dependencies and resource allocations.
• Conduct kick‑off meetings, status updates and stakeholder reviews.
• Track progress against schedule, scope, budget and quality targets.
• Manage risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies, escalating when necessary.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams to ensure clear ownership and accountability.
• Monitor project financials, including budget, actuals, commitments and forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with government security requirements, internal policies and approved delivery processes.
• Prepare documentation such as SOWs, status reports, meeting minutes and closure reports.
• Manage vendor and third‑party deliveries where applicable.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Project Management, Business, IT, Engineering or related field.
• 3–8 years of experience in project management or coordination, preferably on government, secure or regulated IT projects.
• Strong understanding of project governance, scheduling, stakeholder engagement and risk management.
• Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, CAPM) is a plus.
• Ability to obtain or hold relevant security clearance if required.
