Project Manager

About the role

0G is looking for a highly proactive Project Manager to drive execution across its business, product and engineering teams. The role suits someone who enjoys bringing structure to a fast-moving, remote environment: turning company priorities into clear projects, owners, timelines and measurable outcomes, then staying close to execution. It is a distributed team, so strong remote communication is essential.

Key responsibilities

• Drive cross-functional projects from planning through execution and completion across business, product, engineering and other teams.
• Translate company priorities into project plans, milestones, owners, dependencies and measurable outcomes.
• Set up operating rhythms for a distributed team, including project updates, decision logs, action tracking and escalation processes.
• Work closely with engineering and business teams so priorities, requirements, dependencies and timelines are clear.
• Document context, decisions, action items, owners and deadlines so teams can move forward without unnecessary meetings.
• Proactively identify blockers, risks and misalignment and resolve them with stakeholders before they affect delivery.
• Follow up on commitments and ensure clear ownership and accountability across teams.
• Support company- and team-level OKR and KPI setting, tracking and review.
• Build dashboards, trackers and reporting processes that give leadership visibility into progress, risks and performance.
• Facilitate focused cross-functional meetings and turn discussions into clear decisions and next steps.
• Improve internal processes, workflows, documentation and communication as the company scales, and propose improvements where teams are inefficient or ownership is unclear.
• Communicate project status, trade-offs, risks and decisions clearly to leadership and stakeholders, and take on high-priority operational and strategic projects as needs evolve.

Required profile

• Approximately 4-7 years of experience in project management, program management, business operations, strategy & operations, PMO or a similar cross-functional role.
• Proven experience independently driving complex projects involving multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Experience working closely with product and/or engineering teams.
• Strong experience in remote or distributed teams, able to communicate clearly without constant synchronous meetings.
• Comfortable coordinating across functions and time zones and following up when communication stalls.
• Fluent in English; Chinese is a plus.
• Comfortable in a fast-moving startup environment and able to work independently.

Required skills

• OKRs, KPIs, performance tracking or business review processes.
• Project management fundamentals: planning, prioritization, dependency management, risk management and execution tracking.
• Preferred: experience at a startup, scale-up, AI, cloud infrastructure, developer tools or technology company; experience building project-management processes for distributed teams; familiarity with Linear, Jira, Notion, Slack or similar platforms; consulting or strategy experience is a plus.
