About the role
The School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology at NTU Singapore is seeking a Project Officer to support the Nicewicz group’s work on sustainable molecular transformations. This role will ensure smooth laboratory operations and assist the research team in achieving project milestones.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor consumable usage and maintain the condition of laboratory assets to keep projects on track.
- Oversee purchase, procurement, and safety compliance for the group’s chemicals and equipment.
- Assist with data collection and documentation for ongoing research projects.
- Organise and facilitate weekly group meetings.
Required profile
- BSc in Chemistry.
- Experience handling a variety of reagents and solvents in synthetic organic chemistry.
Required skills
- Practical skills in synthetic organic chemistry, including safe handling of reagents and solvents.
